The snowroom collection was founded in 2005 by Ulrika Liffner, educated industrial/furniture designer from Royal College of Art London. A large part of the product development within the company is made in collaboration between Ulrika and her creative partner Josefine Wahlström, educated product designer from Beckmans in Stockholm. The products are made in collaboration with mostly swedish companies. Otherwise they set high demands on factories outside of Sweden and they aim to manufacture in a nearby country. The need to take good care of our planet is highly prioritised at The snowroom and part of their design philosophy is to support sustainable design. They practice fair trade and give from their products to charity projects. The snowroom produce and market products made in materials such as polyester fiber, felt, sheet metal, wood.
