Sophie Duran (1984, Gouda) lives and works in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. After theatre school, Sophie went to the Design Academy Eindhoven where she graduated in 2008. She started her own studio, something she always wanted to do. Her way of working is very intuitive, balancing between art and design. With her recognizable handwriting and a good sense for colour, she creates different atmospheres that encourage you to make you look twice. Her goal is to point out the beauty in this world and ad 'new beauty' to that herself.
