Munich-based Konstantin Grcic is a designer who needs little introduction. An industrialist at heart, his design ethos is a constant attempt to experiment, reinvent and improve both function and aesthetics. He has designed for several manufacturers since he set-up KGID in 1991 including BD Barcelona, Flos, Magis, Muji and SCP. He has also curated the Serpentine Gallery's inaugural design exhibition Design Real showing his own choice of 40 real, industrial objects.
