The starting point for this task were the fascinating 'Waterworks' Van Vught: large sheets of painted paper, which after having been soaked in water, irregular dry bulging. The acrylic paint is applied to disperse into whimsical shapes that in turn strongly evoke an underwater world or diverse landscapes. The tapestries are not a literal translation of the paper work, but gives a great picture by the alternation of dull and shiny materials, transparent and closely woven parts.
