Description:
Large design cushion by Dutch textile artist Mae Engelgeer. Part of a couch cushions collection of design textiles woven in the Textile museum in the Netherlands. Cushion from the "Muse collection". The collection consist out of throws and cushions in different sizes. This series is a celebratory ode to her muse, the decorative symbol the bow. The fabrics are all double sides and made out of mohair, thick acrylic and lurex yarns. The colours al mingles into a happy and colourful but still very stylish mix, and the plaids look like precious jewels in object of arts. Mix and match the cushions together on a couch or bed, or just one as an accent.
